Stunning original work created by New Mexico artist Lisa Marie Kindely is currently available at the gallery. This 36x48 original art created using acrylic and pastel on traditional stretched canvas. She creates each piece carefully prepping the canvas by adding texture. Then using matte acrylic paints, dry pigments, glazes and pastels - she brushes, sands, scrapes and spatters..letting the images grow naturally. She makes stencils from dry leaves and flowers to build layers of organic pattern and texture. Flowers, birds and animals emerge and colors shift between faded and fresh as she explores her landscape that is partly real and partly imaginary.
